going to shoot stuff for west indian zine.
1 loop in prospect park
passing the weekend riders
with $1000 bikes and outfits.
turn left on
church avenue
caribbean fruit shack
pickled hot mango
2 dollar for a bunch.
comes
vinegar onions hot peppers.
the owner is from guyana
and
the guy chopping the sugar cane is puertorican.
coordinated new york shirt and cap.
keep going north to
48 street
turn left on utica ave
east new york
to
broadway to bushwick avenue.
east williamsburg westbound.
after all no map. i get my way around in brooklyn
every street seems to intersect flatbush st some point.
stop at the fix to look at the photos and get some coffee energy.
up to greenpoint

up to 110 st
crosstown to the west side
downtown

turn east on 4 street
i hear a loud noise behind me
suv runs a red light
and rams into a cab
just 10 seconds after i rode by
tall heavy plated trash can flies into the air and almost hits
girl walking by.
SUV driver runs away - throws away his wallet
but gets nabbed by the cops in some store nearby.
i just feel lucky i passed by 5 or ten seconds earlier -

30 miles after all. Passed the 1000 miles mark on my odometer.
